World Down Syndrome Day
World Down Syndrome Day is a day dedicated to advocating for the rights, inclusion and well being of people with Down syndrome. One of the ways for doing this is to wear wild, mismatched socks. When people ask you about your socks, you can share with them all you know about Down syndrome!
This year, MSU Libraries are hosting a Mismatched Socks Celebration at the MSU Main Library, 2-West, 2:00-7:00pm (366 West Circle Drive, East Lansing, MI 48824). The event is FREE and open to the public. Activities will include:
- Make Your Own Socks, 3:00-5:00pm
- Socks Fashion Show: 5:00-6:00pm
- Book Display
Please see the attached flyer for additional information.
